To boost funded health research in Northern Mindanao, the DOST-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD), in collaboration with the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Health Research and Development (NorMinCoHRD), conducted a series of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation for Health (DRR-CCAH) Program Research and Development (R&D) Clinics. These were held on February 18, 2025, at Mindanao State University-Naawan; February 19, 2025, at Xavier University; and February 20, 2025, at USTP Claveria.

The clinic aimed to equip faculty and staff with the skills to develop fundable concept proposals, guide them through the required documentation, and provide consultations to identify gaps and enhance their proposals—ultimately increasing their chances of being shortlisted for full-blown project funding.

Polished concept proposals are to be submitted between March 1 and March 15, 2025.
