NorMinCoHRD, in collaboration with DOST-PCHRD, successfully conducted the HERDIN Orientation Webinar on February 7, 2025, via Zoom.
The webinar aimed to guide institutions on utilizing HERDIN to access health research studies in the Philippines for free. The session covered key topics such as account creation, HERDIN search, and document delivery services.
A total of 81 participants from 30 institutions joined the webinar, with 25 Institutions coming from Region 10. The activity extended its reach beyond the region, engaging institutions from various parts of the country, including Sultan Kudarat State University in Region XII, Cotecna Elite Philippines, Inc.-Surigao and Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology in Region XIII, and Davao de Oro State College in Region XI. It also gained participation from Cebu Doctors’ University in the Visayas and Tarlac State University in Luzon.
Health Research and Development Information Network (HERDIN) is a free online integrated research information system for Philippine health research studies. Through HERDIN, access to health research takes a step closer to improving lives and promoting well-being for all.
