Basic Research Methods Training

The Northern Mindanao Consortium for Health Research and Development will conduct the Basic Research Methods Training in a hybrid format on March 7-8, 2023 (Part I-Online) and March 14-15, 2023 (Part II-Face to face) in Cagayan de Oro City. It aims to promote a research-enabling community and to capacitate budding researchers to produce quality and fundable research proposals for submission to the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).

For reference, the following are the guidelines of the training:

• Nominate up to three (3) budding researchers who have not previously attended the basic research methods training;
• Project leader must be a regular staff or faculty of the member-institution who is currently working on a research proposal;
• Each member-institution can present at most two (2) capsule research proposals and,
• Research proposals must be aligned with the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) 2017-2022 and Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) 2017-2022.

Member-institutions may endorse their participants by submitting an endorsement form together with the prescribed format of the capsule research proposal. Deadline of submission of endorsements will be on March 1, 2023.
